About the event
The Hellenic Business Council in Dubai (HBC) is pleased to invite all members to the Annual General Assembly (AGM) on Monday, 11 May 2026 at 10:00am at Dubai Chambers HQ.
The AGM is of utmost importance and Members will consider, among others, the financial statement for the year ended 31 December 2025 and the budget for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
This year’s AGM also includes elections for the members of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Business Council. As per Dubai Chambers regulations, candidates have been vetted and approved by Dubai Chambers.
Attendance and Voting System
The AGM will be organised in a hybrid format, enabling Members to participate in person, as well as online for those unable to attend physically.
To ensure the efficiency and credibility of the electoral process, electronic voting will be introduced and managed by a third party. Each eligible voter will receive their unique and personalised access link to the voting system.
Members Voting Rights
Each Individual Member has (1) one vote, and each Corporate Member has (2) two votes.
As per the Articles of Association of HBC, only Members who satisfy membership requirements with all applicable membership fees settled have the right to attend and vote in the AGM and Board of Directors elections.
Please ensure payment of any outstanding membership fees is made as soon as possible and in any event by Friday, 8 May 2026. Upon receipt of the membership fee, you shall receive all relevant reports and financial statements to be approved at the Annual General Meeting, as well as the list and details of all candidates with a direct access link to the voting system.
Please confirm your in-person or online attendance by no later than Friday, 8 May 2026.
