In 2024, Greek exports of goods to the UAE recorded a decrease of 7%, amounting to €368 million (+15% excluding petroleum products). Greek imports of goods fell by 71%, down to €108 million (-7% excluding petroleum). The value of bilateral trade in goods declined by 38% to €476 million (+8% excluding petroleum), while the surplus in favour of Greece in bilateral goods trade increased to €260 million.

In recent years, the UAE has been one of the most significant sources of investment flows into Greece. Specifically, net FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) from the UAE to Greece amounted to €107 million in 2023, an increase of 52% compared to the previous year.
