New Board of Directors for 2026-2028

Dear HBC Members and Friends,
We are pleased to announce that the Hellenic Business Council (HBC) has elected its new Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting on 11 May 2026, and its new leadership team following the first meeting of the new Board on 20 May 2026. The new Board of the Council consists of:
• Chairman: Christos Mastoras
• Vice Chairman: Ilias Assimakopoulos
• Secretary General: Giannis Petras
• Treasurer: Aris Doutis
This distinguished group of nine professionals will serve a two-year term for the period 2026–2028. We are excited for the vision, energy, and leadership that the new Board will bring to the Council and the wider Greek business community in the UAE.
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the outgoing Chairman Thanos Karvelis and the outgoing Board members – Christo Papachristou, Polychronis Kotios, Sophia Moulin, and Apostolos Mylonas – for their dedication, service, and valuable contribution to the Council during the 2024–2026 term.
We look forward to building on the HBC’s strong foundations and continuing to strengthen the ties between the Greek and UAE business communities through new initiatives, collaboration, and engagement. We will pursue continuity with renewal and aim to take the HBC to the next level, to engage and achieve impact via an inclusive, collaborative, and transparent approach to actively support the Greek business community, Greek businesses, and the bridge between the UAE and Greece.
