The Hellenic Business Council has been preparing for the upcoming Annual General Assembly (AGM).
This is also an election year AGM (elections for the Members of the Board of Directors take place every two years), and the list of candidates has already been submitted to Dubai Chambers for the required review and approval.
In accordance with the Council’s Articles of Association, the AGM is normally to be held within the first quarter of the year, i.e., by 31 March 2026.
However, in light of the recent extraordinary circumstances and following instructions
from, and in coordination with, Dubai Chambers, the Council is obliged to postpone the AGM, with the intention being that the AGM will be held by 30 April 2026.
This will allow the meeting to be organised in a hybrid format, enabling Members to participate in person, as well as online for those unable to attend physically (as requested by Dubai Chambers).
The formal AGM notice will be circulated in accordance with the Articles of Association, between 21 and 30 days prior to the meeting, confirming the final date and further details.
