2025 Annual General Assembly Meeting of the Hellenic Business Council

The 2025 Annual General Assembly Meeting of the Hellenic Business Council in Dubai (HBC) was held on 27 March 2025 at the premises of the Dubai Chambers, in attendance of a representative of the Embassy of Greece in the UAE.
The Chairman Thanos Karvelis gave an overview of the mission and activities of the HBC during its first year of formation, extending his gratitude to the former Ambassador of Greece to the UAE, H.E. Antonios Alexandridis, to Mr. Dimitrios Thomopoulos (Secretary for Economic and Commercial Affairs / Dubai Economic & Commercial Affairs, Embassy of Greece in the UAE) and to Dubai Chambers for their support, as well as Mr. Ilias Abdo (CEO of Hydropower Energy) for providing an office space and a staff member to the HBC.
The Annual Report, the Audit Report and Financial Statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2024, and the proposed Budget for 2025 were presented to the members of the HBC for their consideration.
Resolutions of the Annual General Assembly
The following resolutions were duly adopted by the members of the HBC at the Annual General Assembly Meeting:
Approval of Reports: The Annual Report, the Audit Report and the Financial Statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2024 were unanimously approved.
Approval of 2025 Budget: The proposed budget for the financial year ending 31 December 2025 was unanimously approved.
Appointment of Auditors: The appointment of ALMHEIRI AND DEVJANI CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS as auditors for the financial year ending 31 December 2025 was unanimously approved.
